WALTHAM, MA (November 16, 2005) The New Jersey Casino Control Commission (NJCCC) found PlayAway to be permissible under the Casino Control Act. In its finding and brief to the Casino Control Commission, the Department of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) found that PlayAway was not internet gaming as no wagering occurs via the Internet.
"After a thorough review of PlayAway, we are gratified that in New Jersey, both the Division of Gaming Enforcement and the Casino Control Commission determined that our system is fully compliant," said Steve Kane, Chief Executive Officer of GameLogic. "We are pleased by this action given that the foundation of our business mission is to create entertaining web-based communications vehicles for our casino customers that comply fully with all applicable State and Federal gaming laws and regulations."
